Attorney David Klink is the founder of Klink Law. He focuses his practice on serious personal injury claims, medical malpractice complaints, and licensing board defense. He takes pride in personally serving his clients and taking the time to explain the legal process and answer your questions.
Education
Mr. Klink is a graduate of Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.
Mr. Klink attended law school at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. During law school, Mr. Klink concentrated on healthcare law and litigation. He worked in the Risk Management Department of the University Medical Center (UMC) in Las Vegas—the largest public hospital with over 500 beds and the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the state of Nevada.
Mr. Klink brought classroom theory to real-life situations, assisting the Executive Director of Risk Management by conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda pertaining to various healthcare compliance issues and liability concerns. These included HIPAA and Stark law compliance, insurance coverage denials, patient safety, medical malpractice issues, sentinel event recording, EMTALA issues, Institutional Review Board compliance for clinical trials, property, and premises liability claims processing, and mental health patient issues.
Within a year of graduating from law school, Mr. Klink attained membership in both the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of Nevada, passing the Bar exam in both states on his first attempt.

Career
After graduating from law school, Mr. Klink returned to Arizona and began his legal career at his father’s Phoenix-based law firm. Mr. Klink worked primarily in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury law, where he had the opportunity to represent clients charged with crimes in Superior Court and Federal Court in Arizona.
Mr. Klink continued his work in the healthcare field by accepting employment as an associate attorney in a small insurance defense firm focusing on medical malpractice, licensing board representation, and general healthcare legal consulting. Mr. Klink participated in several medical malpractice trials and licensing board hearings, representing clients in medical malpractice cases and licensing board complaints in both Arizona and Nevada. He became familiar with healthcare litigation before he resigned to commence his own law practice.
